Book History and Digital Humanities

My research in Book History and Digital Humanities explores the ways in which these two fields intersect. In my edited book, eight essays — including librarians, literature scholars, digital humanists, and historians— reimagine the intersections of texts, technology, and culture and argue for a return to a more representative and human study of the humanities. In my own research, I have used digital technologies to enhance the retrieval of book history data, to facilitate visualizations of how maps are interconnected, and to reframe book data in order to gain new perspectives and insights.
